Richard Quadling - you beauty! And why not call out the name of one of the many, largely anonymous, winemakers around the country who diligently and expertly craft the wines we enjoy on a daily basis? It makes a difference when a winemaker sets out to deliberately create a good rose' (like this) as opposed to the ones that are made as an after-thought from leftovers. Rose petal fragrance, here, leads to soft “pinotesque” notes of strawberry and raspberry, generous enough to go with most dishes, but with an element of delicacy. Lovely stuff.
