Very deep red/purple colour. The bouquet is super-ripe, dense, thick and oaky, with some sump-oil or creosote notes. The palate is likewise big and brawny, thickly-textured and a little chewy, tannic and solid and with no pretence to elegance. A big red for big red lovers, and a typical shiraz-driven GSM. There's a lot of bang for your buck here. Drink 2020-2038.
